Michelle Goetz Grahl (Volunteer Coordinator) grew up in the Boston area. She studied biology at American University in Washington, DC, and has been a volunteer manager for most of her adult life. She lived in Winnipeg, Canada as a Habitat for Humanity volunteer, and while living on the Aviano Airbase, she was a Red Cross volunteer. Michelle previously worked in the area at Michigan Works, Grand Traverse 4H, and as the Program Coordinator of the NW Michigan Transportation Alliance, a collaboration based at BATA (yes, she had to get a CDL).
Michelle loves matching needs with resources and finding hidden talents in people. She also loves to travel (not just to escape the cold). When not at work, you can find her driving her daughter to her many activities, plotting her next trip, reading a book on her porch or puttering in the garden. She volunteers with Child & Family Services, Cherry Festival, and Girl Scouts.
Victoria Maggio, RN (Care Coordinator) moved to Leelanau county in 2000. She relocated from Washington state with her husband Jim and then 4 year old daughter Melia. Victoria graduated in 1984 with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Central Washington University and has worked in multiple areas of nursing in five different states. Since living in Michigan she has worked in Family Practice/Internal Medicine office for Dr. Siemer and Dr. Lammy, in Cardiology for Traverse Heart and Vascular, and most recently in her own business “Whatever It Takes” doing private duty nursing/caregiving.
Victoria enjoys running, walking, snowshoeing, camping, reading, gardening, cooking, crossword puzzles, listening to music and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

She has expertise in working with foundations, state agencies and nonprofit organizations on systems evaluation, strategic planning, capacity building and program development in place-based initiatives.
Before assuming the role as ShareCare’s Executive Director, she worked as a consultant focusing on capacity building in the nonprofit sector. Prior to entering the consulting field, she was the Program and Evaluation Director at the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, where she managed grant making and program evaluation. She received her Doctorate in Education from Rutgers University, and Master’s in Urban Planning and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Illinois.
Debra Wetherbee (Office Manager) was born and raised in Northport, and married her high school sweetheart, Tom. They went to Western Michigan University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She worked in Kalamazoo as a Speech Clinician with severely mentally and physically impaired children.
In 1992 Deb and Tom returned to Northport to raise their two children. Deb worked as an office manager Matheson Greens Golf Course, and even mowed greens one summer. She then earned a Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Michigan State University and taught computer science at Northport Public Schools.
Deb has been with ShareCare since 2002, but when she's not at work, you'll find her sailing on Lake Michigan, rock climbing in Kentucky, creating stained glass panels or best of all, being Grammie Bee to her five grandchildren.
